The best time to dry brush is in the morning, right before you shower. Dry brushing can energize you, leaving you feeling invigorated, similar to a massage.

Starting at your feet, work your way up toward your heart with short, rhythmic strokes. Once finished with the legs, move to your hands, work toward the shoulders with the same short, rhythmic strokes. Brush the shoulders and chest area toward the heart.

Always use quick firm strokes while working your way toward your heart to promote circulation.

Brush your stomach last using a circular motion in a clockwise direction.
